St. Mary & Corpus Christi was rebuilt in 1860 by Fulljames & Waller, except for the 15th C Perp tower of two stages, with gargoyles and battlements and diagonal buttresses. The four-bay north arcade in the church has capitals ornamented with carved foliage. The chancel arch is enriched with ballflower, and the chancel has a hammerbeam roof with arch-braced collars, and carved corbels. The font is one of Gloucestershire's nine lead fonts, but of late, Tudor, date, and decorated with branches of foliage of Renaissance type with Tudor roses, stars and lozenges. At the bottom is a band of Tudor cresting. It is mounted on a decorated stone base of 1860.
