The before mentioned rates is copied from the original rates which is on parchment, and is thus preserved as a curiosity of nearly 230 year old……. The names of families and particularly the names of villages are in the Old Cornish language and more goristine? In most instances perfect in speaking, which they are not rightly spelt in any modern rates.
