named as a beneficiary in his father's will. Aug 27
1823 an inventory was taken of his estate and was

held five months at St. Louis and Alton IL. Spring
1850 went to CA for three years, then returned to

Railroad begun in 1867 but never completed. In 1898
the town had 6 residences, 1 church and an unused
school. He was justice of peace for sixteen years

The two Johns were partners in Gridiron Tannery on Mill
at Ludlow Station, renamed Cumminsville in about 1840 and
since then absorbed into Cincinnati OH. Jemisons moved to
Jackson Twp, Fayette Co IN in 1816, the Cummins moved to
Bourbon Co KY. Cynthia had six sons and one daughter,
Nancy had one son and six daughters, they were daughters
of Eilijah Coe b. 1751 d. 1818 and m. 1779 Ann Middleton
Smallwood b. 1755 d. 1805, both b. Prince George Co MD
and came to near Hillsboro, Loudoun Co VA in 1780
