     Not long after Kathryn died, he left his sons with relatives and came
     to America and lived at Pomeroy OH, where he saved his wages from the
     Mason City Salt works til he had enough to send for the boys in 1871,
     who were met at the boat and taken to Pomeroy. After he married Kate
     they moved to Angerona WV
