     Came to America and Philadelphia PA Oct 28 1738 aboard the ship
     "Belinder Thistle" which sailed from Rotterdam, Holland. He was
     from the Palantinate of the Rhine, Germany. May have spent some
     time in Holland before leaving for America bringing his wife
     and sons Paul, Jacob, Adam, Henry and Nicholas
