Joseph W. Ikleman, former Holly druggist, who has been ill the past two years died in Pueblo last Friday, aged 47 years.
Mr. Ikleman was one of the proprietors of the Holly Pharmacy until a few years ago, when his health became such that it was impossible for him to continue in this altitude and joined by his brother, George J. The firm started a large drugstore in Boulder , where they remained but a few months, the two families journeying to Denver and Davenport , Iowa , respectively leaving deceased in the Hubert Work Institution, where he was confined until death relieved his suffering.
Mr. Ikleman had many friends in Holly and elsewhere in Colorado who will always remember him for his kindness to the poor and afflicted.
He leaves to mourn his loss, a loving wife and two children, Hazel aged 9 years and Edward aged 5 years, and a brother, George J. Ikleman, who is now residing in Rocky Ford.
