Just as The Chieftain goes to press, a telegram received by R.L. Pickett from J.B. Harden at Kansas City , Mo , conveys the sad intelligence of the death of Mrs. Samuel (Clara A) Harden, one of the sturdy pioneers of Holly.
Deceased was well known and highly respected in this section where they resided for many years, and her friends are legion. She was the wife of Samuel Harden and mother of a large family, all of whom are well and favorably known here. Particulars later.
