That the said Treasurer pay to Thomas Harwood Esqr Con-
tinental Treasurer or order Twelve thousand two hundred and sixty
three Dollars and one third of a Dollar of the new Bills emitted by
this State in lieu of four hundred and ninety thousand five hundred
and thirty three Dollars and one third of a Dollar of the Continental
Bills of Credit part of the Quota of this State for the use of the
United States.
Commissions issued to Thomas Long appd Ens. of Capt John
Stoners Compy John Due Carey Capt in the room of Peter Grosh,
John Shellman 1 Lieut & Richd Waters 2 Lt Gray Harding Capt in
the room of Peter Keepheart, John Compton I Lieut John Johnson
2d Lieut & Thomas Hill Ens. belonging to the Fred Town Battalion
of Mil8 Fred. County.

Present as on yesterday.
Ordered That the western shore Treasurer pay to Thomas Rich-
ardson Commissary for Montgomery County one thousand five hun-
dred Pounds of the new Emission of this State to be accounted for.
That the said Treasurer pay to Thos Beall of Geo. Two hundred &
fifty Pounds of the said new Emission on Account.
That John Bullen Esquire deliver to Colo Forrest's Order five good
Horses.
That the Collector of the Tax for Montgomery County pay to
Thomas Richardson Esquire Commissary of Purchases for said
County Twelve thousand Pounds of Tobacco on Account.

Ordered That the western shore Treasurer pay to the following
Officers of the German Regiment viz. Colo Ludowick Weltner, Capt8
Michael Boyer, Charles Baltzel Christian Myers Lieut3 Martin
Shugars, Jacob Grometh & David Morgan Ens. Jacob Raypold and
Alex Smith Surgeons Mate, each one thousand one hundred and
forty nine Pounds, fifteen shillings in lieu of the Articles of Stores
allowed by the Genl Assembly from the 1st January 1780 to the Ist
of October next.

Sir Commander Barron from the State of Virginia, is just arrived
here, in Expectation of being joined by some Vessels of Force (ac-
cording to the Information communicated to Govr Jefferson, in Con-
sequence of the Engagement of Mr Steward on Behalf of the Mer-
chants of Baltimore Town) to cooperate with him in capturing &
expelling from our Bay, the Privateers & Cruisers of the Enemy
which, you are sensible, have not only injured the Traders of this
