An Employee of the Rio Grande Loses His Life.
(Excerpt)
Forbes Ewing, an employee of the Rio Grande, was run over and killed at 9 o'clock this morning near the foot of Eleventh Avenue. He was standing on a switch and did not notice the switch engine and an empty car advancing.
There will be no inquest as Coroner Rogers has looked into the facts and has concluded that no one was to blame.
Ewing was about 40 years old, and leaves a family residing on Market, near First Avenue.
