Birthplace:"History of Franklin and Pickaway Counties, Ohio" Pg 444 states that George Needles was born in Delaware and came as an adult to Fairfield County, Ohio and then to Knox County, Ohio. The book further elaborates on the migrations (and dates) of each of the Needles brothers as they worked their way west from Delaware. This fact is further collaborated by land records showing George Needles as a resident of Fairfield County Ohio in 1809 and again in 1826. Land records of Morrow County (later to become Knox County) are dated as early as 1829.
