Anna Cheyne married James Leith.1
James Leith and his family were found on the 1694 Edinburgh Poll Tax Returns. The abstracted entry reads: "Leith, James, writer, servant to Mr John Stewart, advocate, son to Blackhall, in Conn's Close; wife, Anna Cheyne; children, Robert, Louis, about 10 years, at Liberton in Louis Johnston's house, James, about 5 years, also at Liberton in Samuel Ker's house, Anna, about 4 months, at Dalkeith with a nurse; servant, Margaret Christie, at £12 a year. Two hearths".1
Ann Cheyne (9897) and James Leith (14148) had a daughter who was baptized, in Edinburgh Parish, Midlothian, 21 August 1698.2
