The following is a transcription from the Register of Marriages, Parish of Belhelvie, 1624-1716, Frame 59. “21 August 1625. The said day compered patrick forfyth in this paroch and Chrytiane Chein (eat?) in the paroch of Tarves and who ??? to ??? ??? marriage after ??? proclaimed (could not read the balance of entry)”..1
