Elspet Cheyne married John Hood 2 February 1640, in Aberdeen, Saint Nicholas Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. She was found as Elspeit Chein, Elspet Cheyne and Elspett Cheyne. They had three children, all in Saint Nicholas Parish. She may have been the daughter of Thomas Cheyne and Nanse Robertson. But none of her children were named either, so it is unlikely.1,2
