The entry in the Register of Baptisms reads: "23 Aprill 1650, Alexander Cheyne and Jeane fforbes Ane Daughter called Marjorie. Thomas gordon patrick (norne?) johne cheffones George moriefone (Toulesf?) Johne middlefone ???? ???? Gilbert (maifone?) Godfather".1,2
