Patrick Cheyne

     Patrick Cheyne married Isobel Seton November 1607, in Aberdeen, Saint Nicholas Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. He was listed as Patrik Chenie. There was an IGI baptismal record for a child whose father was named Patrik Cheyne, but no mother's name, in Saint Nicholas, 1608. I have placed that child to this couple. They also had three additional children. Patrick's name was also recorded as Cheyne and Cheine; while Isobel is found as Issobel and Setoun, Setonne and Setton.¹

Patrick Cheynes (9216) and (9306) may have been the same person.
