Elizabeth Cheyne married Andrew Oswald 26 November 1839, in Gorbals Parish, Lanark, Scotland. Their marriage was also recorded in Old Machar Parish, Aberdeen, the same day. No children of this union were found.3,4

Elizabeth was 37 years of age and born in Aberdeen.6

Elizabeth Oswald was listed on the 1861 Scotland Census at 84 Union Street, in Aberdeen, Saint Nicholas Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. Elizabeth was a lodger in the household of Alexander Milne, shoemaker. She was 47 years of age, born in Aberdeen and listed as proprietor's wife.7
