     George Cheyne was baptized in accordance with the procedures of the Church of Scotland, 5 April 1710, at Fetterletter, in Fyvie Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. The following is a transcription from the Register of Baptisms, Parish of Fyvie, 1685-1764, Frame 151 "Apryll 5 (1710) Peter Cheine in fetterletter had a child baptized called George. George Kenty (4394) George Wilfon witneffes."1

George Cheyne married an unknown person . This George had three children in Fyvie Parish. The baptismal records at that time did not indicate the mother or witnesses. Therefore it is quite difficult to verify the correct family relationship. Some degree of doubt is present here.

The following is a transcription from the Register of Baptisms, Parish of Fyvie, 1761-1820, Page 13 "1749 July 10th George Cheyne in kirktown had a Son baptized, called George."2

The baptismal record of Elisabeth Cheyne documented George Cheyne as the father, 1 May 1752, at Kirktown of Fyvie, in Fyvie Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. The following is a transcription from the Register of Baptisms, Parish of Fyvie, 1761-1820, Page 13 "1752 May 1st George Cheyne in Kirktown had a Daughter bap called Elisabeth."2

The baptismal record of William Cheyne documented George Cheyne as the father, 10 April 1756, at Kirktown of Fyvie, in Fyvie Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. The following is a transcription from the Register of Baptisms, Parish of Fyvie, 1761-1820, Page 13 "1756 April 10th Geo. Cheyne in Kirktown had a Son baptized, called William".2
