Jean Urquhart was born, about 1660. Jean Urquhart (760) probably was the daughter of either John (4527) or Alexander (4527) Urquhart. Two of her children's baptisms were witnessed by Urquharts who probably were uncles. Burke's Commoners says that both John and Alexander died unmarried. But did either have a daughter? If not, why did both James Urquhart of Knothleith (4529) and Dr. Patrick Urquhart in Aberdeen (4530) witness the baptisms of her children James and Patrick Cheyne?1

Jean Urquhart married Alexander Cheyne.1
