     Christian Cheyne was baptized, 23 November 1825, in Aberdeen, Saint Nicholas Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland.1

Christian Cheyne was baptized in accordance with the procedures of the Scottish Episcopal, 21 December 1825, in Aberdeen, Saint Nicholas Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. The baptismal entry reads as follows: "Cheyne. Christian, daug. of Revd. Patrick Cheyne, and Eliza Annand, bap. 21 Dec 1825 by the Right Revd. Bishop Skinner."2,3

Christina Cheyne, Helen Cheyne, Isabella Cheyne and Elizabeth Cheyne were listed as in the household of Patrick Cheyne on the 1841 Scotland Census, at Bon Accord Street, in Aberdeen, Old Machar Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. She was his daughter, listed as age 15, and born in Aberdeenshire.4

Helen Stewart, Isabella Cheyne and Christian Cheyne were listed as children in the household of Patrick Cheyne and his wife, Elizabeth Cheyne on the 1851 Scotland Census, at 44 Bon Accord Street, in Aberdeen, Old Machar Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland.5

Christian Cheyne was granted the probate of the estate of the deceased, Isabella Cheyne, 31 July 1860. The will of Isabella Cheyne was proved 31 July 1860. An abstract of which reads: "Cheyne Isabella. 31 July. The Confirmation under Seal of the Commissaroit of Aberdeen dated 28 June 1860 of Miss Christian Cheyne residing in Bonaccord street Aberdeen as Executrix Dative Qua one of the next of Kin of the late Miss Isabella Cheyne who resided at 44 Bonaccord street aforesaid who died at Aberdeen 26 November 1859 was sealed at the Principal Registry London.".6

Christina Cheyne was found in the household of Patrick Cheyne and listed as a daughter on the 1871 Scotland Census at 3 Hailes Street, in Edinburgh, Saint Cuthberts Parish, Midlothian, Scotland. She was listed as 42 years of age and born in Aberdeen. She was indexed with a surname of Chegers.8

Christian Cheyne died 16 November 1873 at 11 AM, of anaemia and debility for six months, at 155 Crown Street in Aberdeen, Old Machar Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. The death record listed her as 46 years of age and single. Her father, Patrick Cheyne, Clergyman, Episcopal Church, recorded the death. Her parents were confirmed to have been as herein recorded.9,10

Her estate was probated on 15 January 1874.11
