William Fraser married Christian Cheyne 30 December 1848, in accordance with the procedures of the Church of Scotland, in Fintray Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. The following is a transcription from the Parish of Fintray, Aberdeen, Register of Marriages, 1820-1854, on microfilm, read at the Inverugie Library, Frame 63, "Decemb'r 30 (1848) William Fraser (7305), Farm Servant and Christian Cheyne (7304), Farm Servant, both in Blair of Fintray, married in Kirk of Savoch, by Rev. John Hunter."2

William Fraser and his wife Christian Fraser were listed on the 1851 Scotland Census, at Auchterellon, in Ellon Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. He was head of household and a farm servant. Also in the household was a Charles Burnett, 5 months old, a lodger. No IGI birth record was found for him.. He was 28 years of age and born in Slains Parish.3

William Fraser and his wife Christian Fraser were listed on the 1861 Scotland Census, in Garmouth, Urquhart Parish, Moray, Scotland. He was head of household and a ploughman. Also present was his child, William Fraser. He was 39 years of age and born in Aberdeen.4

William Fraser and his wife Christina Cheyne were listed on the 1871 Scotland Census, at Cottoun, in Kintore Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. He was head of household and a farm overseer, 55 acres arable, employing 2 labourers.. Also present was his child, William Fraser. She was indexed as 61 years of age and born in New Deer Parish. She was probably 51..1

William Fraser, farm servant, recorded the death of his wife, Christian Fraser, on 11 December 1871, at Dyce Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland; at 9:30 AM, of malignant of urinary organs.5
