Charlotte Cheyne was found in the household of William Cheyne and his wife, Catherine Cheyne, and listed as their daughter on the 1871 Scotland Census at 1 Windmill Street, in Peterhead, Peterhead Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. She was 8 years of age, born in Cornwall, England and a scholar.²

Charlotte (701) and her mother, Catherine (584) probably immigrated together in 1880 to the USA. Both were listed on the 1910 US Census as having immigrated that year.⁵

The family rented their home.. She and her mother were born in England; her father in Scotland.³

They were listed as the head of household and wife. Also present listed as their children were, Olive L. Renwick and Alice C. Renwick. In addition, her mother, Catherine Cheyne, was also present. The family rented their home.. She was listed as having been married for fifteen years and as having had two children, both living and present. She and her parents were born in Scotland.⁵

Renwick. Also present was her mother, Catherine Cheyne and two lodgers. She was listed as married, but her husband was not present. The family rented their home.¹

Charlotte Renwick was in the household of Daniel E. Lorrey and his wife, Olive F. Lorrey, and listed as mother-in-law on the 1930 United States Census, at 1021 Kenilworth Avenue, in Charlotte, Mecklenburg, North Carolina, USA. She was listed as a 67 years old widow and born in England. She immigrated in 1883 and was a Naturalized Citizen.⁴

Charlotte C. Renwick died 14 October 1939 of cerebral hemorrhage and cardiovascular hypertension, at Saint Peter's Hospital in Charlotte, Mecklenburg, North Carolina, USA. She was the widow of Alexander Renwick and resided at 1021 Kenilworth Avenue, Charlotte. Her parents were confirmed to be as recorded herein.⁹
