Adam Hay

     George Cheyne and Adam Hay were witnesses at the Christening of Adam Bruce, 23 September 1681, at Greeness, in Monquhitter Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. The following is a transcription from the Register of Baptisms, Parish of Monquhitter, 1670-1771, Frame 17 “Sept’r 23rd (1681) Alex’r Bruce of Grenefs had a Son baptized whose name was Adam Witnefses Mr. Adam Hay (4702), Min’r, George Cheyn (3009) in Keithin”..1

William Cheyne and Adam Hay were witnesses at the marriage of Adam Clark and Margaret Cheyne, 1 August 1693, in Fyvie Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland; Church of Scotland.2
