Margaret Ogstoun

     Margaret Ogstoun was baptized in accordance with the procedures of the Church of Scotland, 28 April 1706, at Keithen, in Monquhitter Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. The following is a transcription from the Register of Baptisms, Parish of Monquhitter, 1670-1771, Page 47 “April 28 (1706) John Ogstoun in Keithin had a child baptized named Margaret Witnefses Alex’r Chin (756) in Keithin & George Ogstoun in Monquhitter.”
An earlier version of the Register of Baptisms read: Apr 28 1706 “John Ogstoun in Keithin had a child baptized named Margaret(4664) Witnefses Alex’r Chin (756) in Keithin & George Ogstoun in Mountquhitter. Elizabeth ______ in the Parioch of Methlick & Margaret Chin (4705) in Keithin”.¹
