The following is a transcription from the Register of Baptisms, Parish of New Deer, 1684-1726, Page 121, "Aprile 6: Tuefday: 1703 Gilbert Henderfon (4586) had a daughter brought forth by his wife Chriftian Prot (4587) & was baptized __ __ aft the same month, named Elizabeth (4588), Godfathers Alex'r Chyne (756) & James Mowat both in Corbfhill, Godmothers Elizabeth Sibboth spoufe to Mr. David Sibboth min'r at Auchredy Mrs. Elifabeth Sibbold, daughter to the sd Mr. David Sibboth”.1
