Robert Cheyne of Tullidask (4114) and Robert Cheyne in Coldwells (13859) may have been the same person. Tilliedesk and Coldwells are very close to each other, in the parish of Ellon.

A. Y. Cheyne, The Cheyne Family, stated that Thomas Chene of Straloch (2216) acted as procurator for Robert Chene of Tullidask (4114), in 1560 [Aberd. Sheriff Court Vol. II. Diet. 18. 6.1560.]. The parentage of Robert Cheyne of Tullidask (Tilliedesk perhaps?) is not known.1

A Robert Cheyne witnessed a sasine as described in Powis Papers That probably was Robert (4114). The entry read "Item the sd Alex'r Anderson his Sasin following upon, written on the back of the said charter under Subscription of Robert Roust Notar publick, Dated 21 March 1568. witnesses ... Robert Cheyne ...".2
