John Cheynes (4107) and (16748) may have been the same person or father and son. Is Nether Kilmanalie and Nether Kynmenatie the same place? a transcription error?

There were two sasines in Banffshire both dated 19 July 1600 that included John Cheyne (4107), in Nether Kynmenatie. In the first no other Cheynes were mentioned; in the second , his wife, Catherine Wilsoun was listed.2

There was a sasine in Banffshire dated 23 December 1606 that included John Cheyne (4107), in Nether Kynmenatie. He apparently remarried, as his wife was listed as Elizabeth Innes, daughter of Alexander Innes of Myretoun. It is also possible that there were two John Cheynes, perhaps a son of John (4107).3
