     Peter Sadler Cheyne was born, 12 March 1844, in Peterhead Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. No record of Peter Sadler Cheyne's birth has been found. His marriage record listed his parent's as: James Cheyne, schoolmaster and Margaret Sadler. The 1881 and 1891 census of Fraserburgh Parish, Aberdeen, show him born in Peterhead Parish, Aberdeen. The records of Eric and Rose Cheyne, Edinburgh, show Peter born, in 1845, in Ellon and a tailor on the 1871 Walls census returns. I found no birth recorded in OPR of Ellon Parish, Aberdeen.1,2,3,4

Cheyne, William Cheyne, John Cheyne and Joseph Cheyne were listed as children in the household of James Cheyne and his wife, Margaret Cheyne on the 1851 Scotland Census, at Fettermear, in Chapel of Garioch Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. He was 7 years of age and born in Ellon Parish.5

Peter was listed as a tailor, residing at Hanover Street, Fraserburgh, Fraserburgh Parish. His parents were confirmed to be as recorded herein.8

Peter Sadler Cheyne died 12 February 1906 at 2:25 PM, of broncho pneumonia and nephritis, at 53 Manse Street in Fraserburgh, Fraserburgh Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. The death record listed him as Peter Sadler Cheyne, tailor and clothier, married to Elizabeth Philip Smith. Age 61 at death. His son James W. Cheyne (3981) recorded the death.
