In addition, her mother, Sarah Cheyne, and brother, Talbot Cheyne, and four servants were also present.. She was listed as 27 years of age and born in Ireland.3

Elizabeth Block and her husband, Samuel W. Block, were listed on the 1861 England Census, at 15 Talbot Square, in London, Kensington, Middlesex, England. They were listed as the head of household and wife. Also present listed as their children were, Agnes M. Block, Samuel C. M. Block, Allice M. Block, John T. S. Block and Arthur H. Block. In addition, a visitor, Joan E. Payne, 37, and, five servants were also present.. She was listed as 36 years of age and born in Ireland.7

They were listed as the head of household and wife. Also present listed as their children were, Agnes M. Block, Samuel C. M. Block, Alice M. Block and William E. Block.8

They were listed as the head of household and wife. Also present listed as their children were, Samuel C. M. Block, John Saumarez Talbot Block, William E. Block and Agnes Margaret Bland. In addition, his wife's niece, Cecilia Cheyne and three servants were also present.. She was listed as 56 years of age and born in Dublin, Ireland.2

Elizabeth Block and her husband, Samuel W. Block, were listed on the 1891 England Census, at 15 Talbot Square, in London, Kensington, Middlesex, England. They were listed as the head of household and wife. Also present listed as their children were, Samuel C. M. Block and John T. S. Block. Also present were; two granddaughters, Alys E. G. Alexander and Agnes E. Bland; a governess; and, three servants.. Elizabeth was listed as 67 years of age and born in Dublin, Ireland.9

Elizabeth Block was listed on the 1901 England Census, at 15 Talbot Square, in London, Kensington, Middlesex, England. She was head of household and a widow and living on her own means. Also present were her children, Alice Mona Alexander and John T. S. Block. Also present were her granddaughter, Alys E. G. Alexander, 19, and three servants.10

Elizabeth Block, Alfred Perceval Graves and George Combe Williams was a witness at the marriage of Henry Bothwell Waterfall and Alys Eleanor Gorden Alexander, 31 October 1905, at Paddington Parish Church, in London, Middlesex, England.11

Elizabeth Block died 22 January 1911 at The Cot in Felpham, Yapton District, Sussex, England. She was listed on her death record as the widow of Samuel Wilson Block, Berlin wool merchant and 87 years of age. Her death was recorded by her son Arthur Hugh Block, who was present at death and resided at the same address.12
