      There were three sasines in Aberdeenshire dated 14 July 1604, 5 November 1608 and 5 December 1608 that included James Cheyne (2614) in Blakthrie (Blachrie). The first also identified his son Patrick Cheyne (2615). No other Cheynes were mentioned.1
