John Cheyne

      Christian (20752) and John (20753) Cheynes were probably closely related. They both became indentured in 1685 and both went to New Jersey.

He was found on page 28 of the The Original Scots Colonists of Early America. Supplement 1607-1707. His entry reads "Cheyne, John, in Edinburgh, indented to John Hancock, Horsewynd, Edinburgh, for 4 years service in East New Jersey 12.8.1685. [EJ Deeds, Liber A, fo. 253]".1
