He was a retired and she a housewife and they were traveling to 47 Carluth Road, Glasgow, SW1. They were United States citizens and did not intend to remain in Scotland permanently.2

Annie Cheyne and James W. Cheyne were found on a passenger list, dated 10 August 1953, at Quebec, Quebec, Canada. They were first class passengers aboard the Empress of France out of Liverpool on the 4th of August. They were both born in Glasgow and held United States Passports. No other details were listed.1
