In addition, his step-son, an unknown person ; and foster-daughter, an unknown person , were also present. All had resided in Decatur, Illinois in 1935. His son as marked as a foster-son.. She was listed as 37 years of age, a machine operator at a garment factory, born in Germany and a naturalized citizen.²

She was 49, married and born in Alstadt, Germany. They were returning to their home at 2501 East Main Street, Decatur, Illinois.¹
