     William Cheyne was born, about 1880, in Scotland.1

William Cheyne was found on a passenger list, dated 30 April 1912, at Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada. He was a steerage passenger aboard the Cassandra, out of Glasgow. He was 32, married, had never been in Canada and born in Scotland of Scotch race. He was a calender worker in Scotland and had never been employed in agriculture. He was bound for Montreal. George Blacklock McCheyne (19032) was also on the same ship.1
