     John Cheyne was born, about 1869, in Aberdeen, Scotland.1

John Cheynes (16574) and (16575) may have been the same person. Either may have been John Cheyne (3588), (9892) or (12344).

John Cheyne was found on a passenger list, dated 5 April 1907, at New York, New York, USA. He was on a Manifest of Alien Passengers aboard the Baltic out of Liverpool. He was 38 years of age, single, born in Aberdeen, a labourer, had previously been in the Baltimore in 1906, a British Subject of Scotch race and last residence was in London. He was destined for Port Dalhousie, Ontario via the Niagara Falls. He was also found under Canadian Customs paperwork.1,2
