James Milne in this parish, and Isobel Cumming in the parish of Pitsligo, were on this & the previous Sabbath Three times proclaimed & afterwards and married by the Rev'd Mr. Hume". The couple was also married in Pitsligo Parish.2,3,4

John Milne and his wife Isabella Milne were listed on the 1881 Scotland Census, at Pitsligo Castle, in Pitsligo Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. He was head of household and a overseer of a 177 acre farm. Also present were his children, Jane Milne, Jessie Milne, Agnes Milne and Isabella Milne. In addition, two grandchildren, Ann Walker Stephen Milne and John Milne, 5, (parentage unknown) and two farm servants were also present.. He was 48 years old and born in King Edward Parish.1
