Ann Cheyne was listed on the 1901 British Census at 56 Baker Street, in Aberdeen, Gilcomston, Old Machar Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. She was a servant in the household of Peter Murray, tailor. She was listed as home keeper, 23 years of age and born in Savoch Parish, Aberdeen. Also present were two young Cheyne children, presumably hers. They were, an unknown person , 4, and an unknown person , 2, both listed as boarders.1
