Confirmation granted at Aberdeen, 1 September, to Robert Cheyne, Farmer, South Culsh, Parish of New Deer, his father, Universal Legatory, and as such Executor nominate under Will or Deed, dated 5 October 1915, and recorded in Court Books of Commissariot of Aberdeen, 4 September 1917. Value of Estate £120, 14s. 2d".5
His estate was probated on 12 September 1917 at London, England.6
