Helen Cheyne was listed as a servant in the household of John Jamieson and his wife, Johana Jamieson, on the 1851 Scotland Census, at 151 Commercial Street, in Lerwick, Lerwick Parish, Shetland Islands, Scotland. She was 16 years of age, born in Nesting Parish, Shetland Islands and employed as a house servant.1

A Hellen Cheyne, 26, was a servant in the household of Janet Robertson, carpenter's widow. She was born in Lerwick and employed as a domestic servant. She was probably either Ellen Cheyne (14368) or Helen Cheyne (14855).2
