Ann Beaton

     Ann Beaton was baptized in accordance with the procedures of the Church of Scotland, 29 January 1817, in Peterhead, Peterhead Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. The following is a transcription from the Register of Baptisms, Parish of Peterhead, 1739-1819, Page 9/312, "Jan. 29th, 1817 [This entry was placed in the Register considerably after the fact with three others of the same family.] The same person (Peter Beaton (1343), labourer in Peterhead) had a daughter baptised & named Ann (1346), before the same witnesses (Ja's Sangster & Ja's Davidson).”.¹
