Ann Robertson married Alexander Cheyne 30 December 1740, in accordance with the procedures of the Church of Scotland, in Peterhead Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. The following is a transcription from the Register of Marriages, Parish of Peterhead, 1664-1764, Page 270 "Dec'r 30 (1740) Alex'r Cheyn & Ann Robertfon ". The Alexander Cheyne that married Ann Robertson was probably Alexander (1266).1
Her father may be Thomas Robertson. He witnessed the baptisms of two of her five children.
