     Catharine Dunbar was baptized in accordance with the procedures of the Churh of Scotland, 16 July 1821, at Balearn, in Lonmay Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. The following is a transcription from the Register of Baptisms, Parish of Lonmay, 1820-1854, Page 7, (this entry was not recorded in proper sequence) "July 16th 1821. Charles Dunbar (1042) in Balearn had a daughter baptized named Catharine (1049) - Witnesses William Craighead and John Smith there.”.1

Catharine Dunbar married Thomas Yule 30 July 1839, in accordance with the procedures of the Church of Scotland, in Lonmay Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. The following is a transcription from the Register of Marriages, Parish of Lonmay, 1820-1854, Page 134, "July 30th (1839) Thomas Yule (1060) in the Parish of Crimond and Catharine Dunbar (1049) in this Parish declared their purpose of marriage and were married.”.2

The baptismal record of John Yule documented Catharine Dunbar as his mother, 1 November 1841, at Balearn, in Lonmay Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. The following is a transcription from the Register of Baptisms, Parish of Lonmay, 1820-1854, Page 100, (this entry was not recorded in proper sequence, it listed the seven children born to the couple, all on one page) "Thomas Youle (1060), Shoemaker, Balearn, & his wife, Catharine Dunbar (1049), had the following Children born to them, viz: John (1832), born 28th September 1841 & baptized by Mr. Gibbon 1st November - Witnessess Charles Dunbar (1042) & John Youle.3

The following is a transcription from the Register of Baptisms, Parish of Lonmay, 1820-1854, Page 100, (this entry was not recorded in proper sequence, it listed the seven children born to the couple, all on one page) "Thomas Youle (1060), Shoemaker, Balearn, & his wife, Catharine Dunbar (1049), had the following Children born to them, viz: Mary (1833), born 18th October 1843, & baptized by Mr. Gibbon 24th November. Witnesses Charles Dunbar (1042) & John Youle.3

The following is a transcription from the Register of Baptisms, Parish of Lonmay, 1820-1854, Page 100, (this entry was not recorded in proper sequence, it listed the seven children born to the couple, all on one page) "Thomas Youle (1060), Shoemaker, Balearn, & his wife, Catharine Dunbar (1049), had the following Children born to them, viz: Catharine (1836), born 29th May 1850 & baptized by Mr. Cordiner 20th June - Witnesses Charles Dunbar (1042) & John Youle.3

Catharine Yule and her husband, Thomas Yule, were listed on the 1851 Scotland Census, at Balearn, in Lonmay Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. They were listed as the head of household and wife. Also present listed as their children were, John Yule, Mary Yule, Thomas Yule, Charles Yule and Catherine Yule. On four consecutive entries of the census, enumeration district 3: number 2, had Charles Dunbar and Mary Dunbar MS Cheyne; number 3, had their son Cumine and his family; number 4, had their son Robert Dunbar and his family; and, number 5, had their daughter Catherine Yule and her family.. Catherine was 29 years of age and born in Lonmay Parish.4

The baptismal record of Margaret Yule documented Catharine Dunbar as her mother, 21 February 1852, at Balearn, in Lonmay Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. The following is a transcription from the Register of Baptisms, Parish of Lonmay, 1820-1854, Page 100, (this entry was not recorded in proper sequence, it listed the seven children born to the couple, all on one page) "Thomas Youle (1060), Shoemaker, Balearn, & his wife, Catharine Dunbar (1049), had the following Children born to them, viz: Margaret (1837), born 28th January 1852 & baptized by Mr. Cordiner 21st February - Witnesses Charles Dunbar (1042) & John Youle.3

The baptismal record of Isabella Yule documented Catharine Dunbar as her mother, 15 May 1854, at Balearn, in Lonmay Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. The following is a transcription from the Register of Baptisms, Parish of Lonmay, 1820-1854, Page 100, (this entry was not recorded in proper sequence, it listed the seven children born to the couple, all on one page) "Thomas Youle (1060), Shoemaker, Balearn, & his wife, Catharine Dunbar (1049), had the following Children born to them, viz: Isabella (1838), born 1st May 1854 & baptized by Mr. Cordiner 15th May - Witnesses Charles Dunbar (1042) and Cumine Dunbar (1050), both in Balearn.”.3

Catharine Yule and her husband, Thomas Yule, were listed on the 1861 Scotland Census, at Balearn, in Lonmay Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. They were listed as the head of household and wife. Also present listed as their children were, John Yule, Mary Yule, Thomas Yule, Catherine Yule, Margaret Yule, Isabella Yule, Cumine Yule and Alexander Yule. She was 39 years of age and born in Lonmay Parish.5
