Vicomte de Beaune, ancien officier dans Auvergne, according to Les Jourda de Vaux, which notes that he died without issue, testament dated 16 dec 1806. Thus, he must have died after 27 apr 1807, the date of death of his son No�l.

He is mentioned in the terrier ACV FH 137 as the ancestor of some of the Mayor family of Ballens. The same terrier (fol. 426v) mentions in passing a notary Franciscus dou Vernay who had worked at Mollens at some point in the past generation. Further, the same terrier (fol. 421v) refers to Aymonet Mayor (without any alias) as a predecessor of Antoine, grandson of the present Antoine de Vernay alias Mayor.
The name is also spelled "de Verney", "du Verney", and so forth. It is probably the same name as "Verneto", which seems to be attached to a vicar and/or notary at Mollens, Franciscus du Verneto, cited in the terrier ACV Fg 125, in turn referencing an earlier terrier compiled by Expert Aymonet Pollens, not yet identified but probably dating before 1500.
The terriers imply at least the two children Michel and Pierre, but the terriers of Mollen, suggest that Claude Mayor dit Mathey of Mollens could descend from another son of the present Antoine. The sons of Michel owned a half interest in at least some property for which the other half interest was owned by Claude Mayor dit Matthey circa 1530.
One rendition of her name, in a settlement among her sons (05 oct 1610, Jaques Jaquier, notary at Moudon, ACV DL 52/1 fol. 35), looks more like Denesier. The spelling de Veyrie is found in another settlement involving her sons (Antoine Richard, notary at Moudon, ACV DL 80/1 fol. 144v, dated 09 aug 1604). Since the family was from Geneva, it is likely that the spelling should be de Veyrier, also the name of a commune near that city. This family produced several notaries.
The name of her father is given at several places in the terrier ACV Fn 343, circa 1591.
Which of the two brothers called Johannes Gachet, both sons of Roletus Gachet, was the husband of Anthonia de Villar? She is mentioned several times in the records of the notaries and at least once in the terriers. However, it is still not entirely certain which Johannes married Anthonia, or indeed if both brothers married women named Anthonia.
ACV Dp 64: Nicodus Mareschet notary at Payerne 1431-1439, fol. 81v, — Johannes Gachet filius Roleti Gachet de Villar en Vuilliez with approval of his said father has received from Anthonia filia Petri de Villar de Domdidier, wife of the said Johannes, 40 livres, dowry, assignal, 08 nov 1434, with other provisions.
She is named as the mother of Fran�ois and Gabriel de Prez in the terrier ACV Fh 112 fol. 729v, 17 feb 1586. Her parentage is given in a further "specification" in the same terrier, fol. 808. She is cited as the wife of Noble Aym� de Prez as early as 03 jan 1540 (Claude Garney, notary at Lucens, ACV DL 44/1 fol. 6).
