Mrs. Ida M. Harry Dies in Wichita, Kan.
Word has been received of the death of Mrs. Ida M. Harry, 85, former Urbana resident, Monday in her home in Wichita, Kan. Death was due to pneumonia and complications resulting from a broken arm which she suffered in June.
Funeral services were held Thursday morning in Kansas with burial in Eldorado.
Mrs. Harry was born March 18, 1858 in Bushnell and spent most of her life in Urbana. She moved to Wichita in 1925 after the death of her husband W. L. Harry, but had returned to Urbana many times to visit. Her last visit was a little more than two years ago. She leaves two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Helson and Mrs. Bird Kelly with whom she had been residing in Wichita and several nieces and nephews in and near Champaign-Urbana.
She was a member of the Methodist church in Wichita and of the Urbana Eastern Star and White Shrine.
