Mildred (Micki) Madeline Stevens
(May 22, 1916 - December 27, 2006)

Mildred (Micki) Madeline Stevens, 90, of Urbana died at 5:17 P.M. Wed., Dec. 27, 2006 at home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wed., Jan. 3, 2007 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, U. the Rev. John Sims will officiate. Burial will be in Yearsley Cemetery, U. Visitation will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Tues. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Stevens was born May 22, 1916 in Paxton, the daughter of Andrew J. and Clara Russell King. She married George L. Stevens on Feb. 27, 1937 in Monticello, IN; he died on Sept. 22, 1992.

Survivors include two sons: Michael F. Stevens of Appleton, WI, Marc T. Stevens of U, and a daughter: Sara E. Panko of U, sister; Evelyn Marriott of U, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.

Mrs. Stevens graduated from Paxton High School and was a secretary in the Biology Department at the U of I for 20 years.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Urbana, the Neighborhood Social Club, the Women of the Elks Canasta Group and recently retired from the Senior Citizens bowling league.
