April 1895: “50th Wedding Anniversary Wed., Mar 27 of Wm B. and isabella C. Allen. Mr. Allen is a pioneer of Platte Purchase, coming in 1837. He settled in this county in 1843. He is 73 years old. His wife, formerly Miss Isabella C. Beattie is 75.”
