Some say he died 1098. He slew MacBeth in 1057. Was also the King of Strathclyde.

Malcolm III became King of Scotland in 1057 and reigned until his death in 1093. Malcolm was the successor to MacBeth. Malcolm lent his aid to Edgar Atheling, pretender to the English throne, waging wars against England that helped ensure Scottish independence and made possible church reorganization by his wife, Margaret.
