Reverand William Walton came to New England about 1635, settling at Hingham, Massachusetts. He was listed as a proprietor in 1635 and was admitted a freeman in 1636. In 1637 he moved to Wymouth, then to Marblehead where he was given permission to plant acreage at Jeffrey’s Creek in 1640, but remained minister at Marblehead. He died of appoplexie.
