Misc. Notes
HENRY NEALE had a land grant at Braintree for three heads Feb. 24, 1639/40. Where this was we do not know but he later purchased 80 acres of William Hudson. This land was sold by the trustees of William Hudson Sr. of Boston Jul. 14, 1648 to Henry Neale and Peter George. The N.W. bound was on Furnace Brook and lay along Adams St. Quincy easterly from Common St. to about the present Dewson Road in Quincy, and this is where the Neales lived for many years. Henry Neale was a carpenter and deposed in Middlesex Court Jun. 30, 1654 aged about 35 years.

About 1657 he removed to Providence where he bought a house and land but returned to Braintree before 1661. He was active in town affairs.

Henry Hobson servant of Henry Neale was freed from him and put to another. He was put to Goodman Thomas Meekins for the rest of his time for £4 per annum Apr. 27, 1643 - Records of Court Assistants.
