My 4th great-grandfather James Burch Kitson married second Jemima Mays June 22, 1795 in Fauquier Co, VA and they had a daughter Jemima that married Stephen Boyd in Henry Co, KY on July 24, 1824. I believe they had only one son, James, that may have moved to Champaign, IL at some point. According to James Kitson's will, his daughter Jemima died before him (he died circa 1835).465

The will of James B. Kitson of Henry Co, KY, dated 16 Feb 1835, indicates that his land is to be left to his sons, William and James. To his daughter, Nancy Harrell, he leaves one cow and calf, one feather bed, furniture, and fifty dollars. He leaves the remainder of his property to be divided equally among his deceased daughters' children - a son and daughter of Elizabeth Boyd, a son of Sarah Shuck, and the son of Jemima Boyd.
