Drummer in 1690 expedition to Canada, among 47 in a company of 75 who never returned, most lost at sea. His wife had their children baptized the next year. In 1735 the General Court granted the heirs and survivors a township in Worcester, now Ashburnham. His son, Joseph, received his share.
